I am too excited to wait
until Sunday to post.
I finished the initial
draft and have received two positive reviews from avid romance readers! I want
to thank them for their time and feedback. Some of their great suggestions have
already been incorporated.
We had snow again in
Mississippi. It was beautiful, very picturesque. After living in Baltimore,
it’s amazing how one inch of snow can bring a town to a standstill.
I promised to tell you how
Megan and Jesse meet. They bump into each other, literally, on the street. An
excerpt from their second meeting is below.
An excerpt from Exclusive:
“Megan, you’ve
got to back off. I was sent to give you a message. I don’t want to have to come
back and deliver the punishment. You were lucky they only wanted to give you a
verbal warning.”
“I’ve already
received a death threat this week. Unless you can top that, you are wasting
your time.” Please don’t let him hurt me. “Now, if there is
nothing else, I’ll show you out the door.” She dropped her arms and walked
toward the door.
Megan gasped
when Jesse pulled her against his rock-hard body and kissed her before she
could protest. She had never been kissed like this before. That was her excuse
for not pushing him away, for kissing him back, for putting her arms around his
neck.
I must go and check the
food bowl for the stray cats. I caught Blue-jays eating it. Actually, they
picked through the bowl and ate only one of the flavors. I hope the cats aren't
as picky.
That’s it for now. Have a
good rest of the week and see you on Sunday!
